Planet Drum Foundation, Cascadia (US-CA)
Planet Drum was founded in 1973 in San Francisco, California to provide an effective grassroots approach to ecology that emphasizes sustainability, community self-determination and regional self-reliance. In association with community activists and ecologists, Planet Drum developed the concept of a bioregion. Through its projects, publications, speakers, and workshops, Planet Drum helps start new bioregional groups and encourages local organizations and individuals to find sustainable ways to live within the natural confines of bioregions. We believe that people who know and care about the places where they live will work to maintain and restore them.

Kansas Area Watershed Council (US)
Founded in 1982, the Kansas Area Watershed Council is one of the oldest bioregional groups on the continent. We explore, protect and celebrate the prairie and local culture. We’ve offered workshops, weekend gatherings, special programs, classes and performances since 1982, and we’ve been primary organizers in the continental bioregional movement, and we published two decades of a bioregional journal, Konza. A generation of KAW kids grew up with a close connection to the earth. We invite you to come grow with us for generations to come.

New Haven Bioregional Group (US)
Founded in 2005, the New Haven Bioregional Group sponsors walks, films, canoe trips, potlucks, and other events to help residents of the Quinnipiac Bioregion connect with their natural and built environment, to build community resilience, and connect people to each other by deepening their sense of place.
Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center (US)
Since 1988, the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center has played a pivotal role in preserving the integrity of Mount Shasta and its surroundings. Our bioregional perspective encompasses not only natural interconnected systems but also their cultural layers that constitute the human relationship to the land. What has emerged is widespread recognition of Mount Shasta and the surrounding area both locally and internationally as a major natural sanctuary for its superlative beauty, pristine purity, high quality waters and cultural significance — deserving to be preserved in its integrity for generations to come.
We work through public education, science-based public policy and advocacy, legal challenges, restoration, watershed monitoring, forest stewardship, building partnerships and alliances, and engaging the local community to connect with and protect our bioregion.

Sentiero Bioregionale (IT)
